About the role

What you'll be doing

You'll join a security operations team protecting organisations from real cyber threats. Day to day you'll monitor alerts, investigate suspicious activity and help contain incidents before they cause damage. It's one of the fastest-growing fields in tech, with a clear route from entry-level analyst to senior security engineer.

Day to day

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor security alerts and triage potential threats in a SOC environment
  • Investigate suspicious activity across networks, endpoints and cloud systems
  • Document incidents and support the response and recovery process
  • Help maintain security tooling, policies and vulnerability management
  • Escalate complex incidents to senior analysts and learn from them

Who this is for

What you'll need

  • No degree or prior experience needed - full training is provided
  • CompTIA Security+ or working towards it (covered in your programme)
  • Strong attention to detail and a logical, curious mindset
  • Comfortable working in a team and communicating clearly
  • Right to work in the UK
