About the role

What you'll be doing

You'll design, maintain and troubleshoot the networks that keep organisations connected - from office LANs to wide-area and cloud networks. Working with switches, routers, firewalls and monitoring tools, you'll make sure data moves quickly, reliably and securely.

Day to day

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor network performance and respond to outages or degradation
  • Configure and maintain routers, switches and firewalls
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues across wired and wireless networks
  • Support network changes, upgrades and documentation
  • Work with security teams to keep the network protected

Who this is for

What you'll need

  • No degree or prior experience needed - full training is provided
  • CompTIA Network+ or working towards it (covered in your programme)
  • Logical thinking and a methodical troubleshooting approach
  • Interest in how networks and the internet work
  • Right to work in the UK
